Carrie has spent most of her life studying the human body as an athlete and a holistic health practitioner. As a young athlete pushing boundaries with a great enthusiasm for sports, she sustained many injuries. Upon retiring from her professional and competitive disciplines she found yoga, eventually teaching on proper alignment and detailed muscle integration. She could see different movement patterns where her students could benefit from having more muscular freedom. With a desire to help at a deeper level, she decided to study Rolfing from the original school founded by Dr. Ida Rolf, the Rolf Institute and later graduated from The Guild of Structural Integration. She continued to expand her knowledge by working for a couple physical therapy practices in Vail, Colorado. The combined knowledge of Rolfing with post surgical rehabilitation and physiotherapy has shaped her as the Functional Therapeutic Practitioner she is today.

Carrie continues to be inspired to help others experience physical freedom in their body. Her belief is that when a body moves with ease, a greater quality of life is possible. Carrie specializes in working with athletes that are seeking to maintain functional alignment and longevity in their sport. She also sees clients for post injury rehabilitation, nerve problems, arthritis, post surgical rehabilitation, paralysis, neurological disorders, joint replacement/prosthetic adaptation/limb amputation and other varying orthopedic issues.
